The Legacy Rose & Crown Hotel is praised for its beautiful location near water meadows, friendly and helpful staff, lovely river-view rooms with large comfortable beds, easy access to the Cathedral a (Read More)nd city centre, and good breakfast. Guests appreciated the exceptional service from staff, with special mention of Amanda and Alan who went above and beyond to assist. The hotel is highly recommended and guests express desire to return.

The location was very good but it rained all our stay which limited time outside. The TV worked fine. Not much natural lighting but good lighting options. Good size towels.

The shower was stuck on the setting that gave a middle, very powerful flow. There were no USB sockets, although reception did find us an adapter plug. If more than one room (eg in times of a full hotel)required this, it would be difficult. The towel rail did not work or at least we could not find the essential switch!

Great location for walking into city

We were in ground floor room near road which was noisy at times and creaky floors from residents above through the night. Could do with long feather duster to remove cobwebs.

Welcoming, Friendly, lovely food. Attentive staff in lovely surroundings

The character the property has, the river, the log fire in the little bar, the lay out of the hotel and the parking is a huge bonus. The staff were also exceptionally friendly and welcoming.

Would stay here again!

Comfortable clean room. Breakfast was great! In this town there is little parking, hotel has great parking and walkable to sites to see.

Staff very helpful, good location for a visit to Salisbury Cathedral etc.

Location was perfect. Easy stroll into historic centre of town. Views across the river to the cathedral. Parking good. Attractive building with good restaurant.

At night we could easily hear people moving around/ talking in room above.
