Well presented and all good amenities. Lots of games for the children and great heating system and shower!

Slight slippery steps in the cold but obviously not under their control but for someone whose balance or mobility was slightly poorer just be careful

Good but not value for money

Food was good. Rooms were comfortable/adequate.

Rooms & food expensive for what you get. Room very noisy with extraction fan from kitchen running through room. Bar/eating area very stark & lacking ambiance/bad lighting.

A lovely place to stay; I'd recommend it for someone visiting the area.

Dinner and breakfast were superb. The overall cleanliness and quality of furniture, fixtures, fittings and materials was very high and justified the price. The staff were great; couldn't be more helpful. Loved the walk-in shower. Loved the air conditioning unit in the cupboard (didn't need it but good it's there).

Minor niggle, entrance to car park not obvious if your first arrival is in the dark. No dog friendly room.

Home from home

I enjoyed my two-day weekend stay at The Kings Arms - a great location in a pretty village. The room was tastefully decorated, immaculate and comfortable. The staff were attentive and friendly. The breakfast menu is excellent. I ordered a Full English. An elderly couple went for kippers - they were delighted and said it reminded them of the old days. I would stay here again. Thank you!

Softer lighting in the bar at night would be a good touch.
