Stay away if you are expecting a quality Hotel, unless it gets cleaned Up.

Nothing at all.

The room was a dump, riddled with damp, carpets have not been cleaned for the last 10 years, tablets and used tissues under bed on our arrival. charged extra 8 per day for the extra cleaning, what a joke, never got vac up in the 4 nights we stayed. The Photo shows the bed made up after the cleaners etc had finished. Checked out 2 days earlier because of the state. We had asked if they could cater for Gluten Free and Lactose intolerant, only to get there and no Lactose free milk or Gluten Free cereals. OK if you want Bacon, beans etc. Wife ate nothing for 4 days. Never again. Place is more like a 1 at the best 2 star hotel. In a Nut shell the owners need to spend money on the whole building. We were in room 6.

Superb

A pleasure to stay in

The staff as always were fantastic. They work well together as a team and make everyone feel welcome. This includes the manager, bar and waiting team. First rate customer service. Ample on site parking is a bonus as most other properties in town offer a permit which is for on the road and not guaranteed. The location is great as it's only a short walk from town and the views from the front of the building are stunning. My husband always enjoys the breakfast and praises the quality of the produce used.

We would have liked to have a couple of glasses or plastic beakers in the bathroom for brushing our teeth or to use for bedtime water for medication. It wasn't convenient to keep using the coffee cups as we were then limited as to what beverage we could have. Unfortunately the shower pressure was very low and we had no hot water. We looked for an additional switch for an emersion heater but there wasn't one. My husband had to boil the kettle to shave. We appreciated the extra pillows but they should have had a pillowcase on, especially the ones that felt quilted/patterned. The duvet was very thin and there was no blanket so we were cold.

Disappointing

Luckily, only needed for one night

Location of the hotel and pillows.

It was dirty and not just a bit of dust. Spider webs were hanging around the room and in the bathroom. The carpet was grey around the bedside tables and bed from the layer of dust. The shower took around 15 minutes to warm up, and there was no pressure. Throughout the stay, we could hear a noise that was quite loud as it woke me up. However, it wasn't water or anything like this from our room to make it stop. Mattress was uncomfortable, soft, worn out in the middle, and you could feel the springs. Breakfast was included in the price, but we would have been better off getting it somewhere else as the sausage, fried bread (literally dripping with oil) and the bacon were not as premium as they say. The table was sticky and stained, and you could easily see the cobwebs around the restaurant.

It's an average well worn hotel for an average to bargain price so nowt to complain about.

Pleasant staff, great location (on sea front opposite Venetian Waterways gardens and easy walking distance of town centre and main promenade), nice breakfast

As others have said the decor is dated and worn, but, to be fair, for the price paid, it's good value considering the excellent location.

Very friendly staff, Charlie was very welcoming. Amazing value for money as given many breakfast options. Wonderful location opposite the Venetian Gardens.

Mattress a little uncomfortable. Water pressure in shower could be better.
