Pleasant

Generally ideal for visiting area/family. But could do with a refit. Especially bathrooms.

Nice location . Beds very comfortable. Quite quiet.

No WiFi in one of the blocks. Bathroom door lock jammed preventing access. Very cold in restaurant.

everything was brilliant! the staff so friendly the welcome so warm and genuine the shower nice and hot the nice beers at the bar the comfy bed linen the quiet nights sleep

Room was clean and bed comfy. Although pillows were very hard. Bathroom was clean

Heating not on when I arrived had to wait for room to warm up. Not a very warm welcome on arrival, didn't even get a smile from the manager or the girl behind the bar/reception. After a hideous train journey it would have been nice! No breakfast, that wasn't on the website, nowhere close by to eat before I started work in the morning. WiFi was also hopeless, couldn't get my laptop to connect t properly.

Lovely place and staff not peaceful

The room was warm and clean and the staff very friendly

The communal door to the rooms as other guests were in and out of it until the early hours of the morning making a lot of noise. No sound proofing so could hear the family above. Also the couple across the lobby arguing until the early hours of the morning

Disappointing

Very disappointed travelers

The rooms were pleasant and clean staff were polite and friendly.

The website states food is available and the restaurant is open till 8pm,however when we got there and asked if we could book a table for an evening meal we were told the kitchen closes at 4pm. We were out at a christening and couldnt get back for a meal. We had travelled from Yorkshire on that day and needed a meal but had to go hungry. There was also no cooked breakfast only continental but on the website it says cooked breakfast available. This situation with the meals spoilt our stay. They need to update their website !!!!
