The Historic Brookstown Inn in Winston-Salem has a good location within walking distance of restaurants and coffee places. Guests loved the historic and charming atmosphere, as well as the compliment (Read More)ary breakfast buffet, wine and cheese in the evening, and cookies and milk at night. The rooms were clean and cozy, with beautiful Christmas decor. There were minor issues with noisy beds, inadequate blinds, and slightly disinterested front desk staff, but overall it was a great and unique experience with warm personal service.

From the moment you walk in there is a warm welcoming environment. We loved the history aspect and the cat! Thr breakfast was great. The room was clean and spacious. If you are into historical sites or just want a wonderful place to stay, this is it! We will be back.

There wasn't anything that we did not like. It was a wonderful stay!

Everything about the place was so special. The young lady at the desk when we checked in was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and Old Salem. We just loved our room! Very unique and I'd love to be able to see what some of the other rooms look like. The oversized bathtub was just that ! It was massive . They offer wine and cheese in the evening as well as warm cookies and milk before bed! The complimentary HOT breakfast was plentiful and well received. The hotel is within walking distance of Old Salem so it's super convenient to keep your car at the hotel and just walk up the hill.

Just a suggestion but maybe there could be an ATM possibly near the lounge or just in the lobby.

I loved the activities provided every few hours, such as the wine and cheese and the milk and cookies. Breakfast was exceptional. The staff was helpful in helping navigate the area as well.

Lovely, well appointed rooms, helpful staff and charming historic and industrial property

It was charming and had all the amenities youd expect with a unique industrial design. Located very close to dining options and walkable to old Salem. Breakfast is hot and delicious. The staff is nice and friendly.

My husband was allergic to something outside that made him sneeze.

Overall it was excellent! We will come again!

It was so beautiful, loved the history. The staff was helpful, courteous and friendly. We loved visiting with the manager.

The sofa bed was not clean when opened, there was trash under the couch cushions.

We had a marvelous stay! Very, very clean, rustic and classy with an amazing staff! Well be back for sure.

Its a beautiful , historic facility nestled at Old Salem. The room (Queen suite) was quite spacious and the breakfast was extraordinarily delicious.

There was a receptacle face plate that was broken, large enough for a childs finger to get in there. Also the nightstand light on the right side of the bed had a short in it.
