Superb

Comfortable and welcoming

The room was comfortable and well presented. The host explained clearly the available facilities including the guest lounge and honesty bar. Breakfast included a good variety and was well cooked using great produce.

Parking was difficult. On street parking only but it was very limited availability at the time we arrived (4pm)

The Edwardene is in an ideal location, a very pleasant short walk into Keswick centre. The accommodation was excellent, we stayed in Osprey room which was on the top floor with absolutely stunning views of the mountains to wake up to every morning. The guest lounge is a lovely additional surprise to the property, and an excellent idea. The breakfast choice is just enough and the quality of the food and drink served is excellent. The cleanliness of our room and whole property in general was very good. We have returned home looking to book again as it as such a pleasant stay and will certainly be returning in the future.

Excellent place for hikers, groups and couples

Great central but quiet location. Lovely lounge area and excellent breakfast.

Could do with a bit more drying space for hikers but this is a minor issue

Christmas in Keswick

Stayed at The Edwardene before and still excellent in all aspects, must try the lovely breakfasts. Great location only 10 min walk into Kewsick.

A perfect Keswick retreat - miss this, miss out!!

Everything! Lucy and Dan were the perfect hosts! Fabulous choices for breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble, including providing a cafetiere of coffee for us when we returned to the hotel mid morning having been stranded the night before in Hawkshead - it's those little things that mean the most!! The hotel is in the perfect position for the town centre - we will definitely stay here again!!

Really enjoyed my stay and will use again when i am next travelling that way.

Lovely location, welcoming staff very helpful.

We enjoyed the warm welcome and the additional spaces like the shared toilet and the communal lounge with the honesty box. It was great to have so many options for breakfast.

There were very little toiletries in the bathroom. Only one towel between 2 of us and no bath mat. Very little toilet roll, no shower gel etc. The tea station only had one biscuit between 2. Seemed like the room was set up for one guest and not two, as wed booked and paid for. Breakfast was very quick and the staff were so helpful. The food looked great but lacked flavour. Not sure why but my colleague noted the same.
