Beautiful location

The location of the hotel is lovely, right on Grasmere Lake. The customer service was good. We liked the spa, it was clean and pleasant. My husband had a treatment which he enjoyed. We ate at the hotel for the 2 nights we stayed and the food was nice. We actually preferred eating in the lounge bar to the restaurant as the atmosphere in there was more to our liking. Breakfast wS good, plenty of choice and lots to eat.

Minor points, really, but a lake view room probably means you have a view of the car park! Also, I thought there was a coffee making machine in the room from its description, but it was a kettle with instant coffee.

Good location, spa could be better

Location, short walk to village. Okay spa could be better. Had an amazing full body treatment

No grounds to walk on. Sauna was very small.

Very nice hotel bit over priced for what you get

Breakfast was great, location great , spa nice

Lack of vegan options... if staying more than 1 day you're stuffed. No last order called and bar seemed to close at 10pm A bit over priced

Good stay but would not say amazing as for a 4 star hotel the expectations are bit higher .

Breakfast was good . Place is amazing

No hand wash in the room 4 star hotel and no handwash Towels had stains of corrosion . Iron was not working in the room . Ironing board cover was dirty . You dont expect to ring receptions for these things when you are 4 star hotel . Went for a facial in spa . I found the towels very dirty not up to the standards .
