Good for the price we paid. Cheap and cheerful
Location was great, was generally clean and a very spacious room.
The shower wasnt very good and didnt really run very fast, the toilet was wobbly and felt like it was going to break when we all sat on it, bedsheets were dirty underneath the quilt cover. Window was cracked so it let a lot of cold in during the night.

We have stayed at this hotel many many times but don't think we'll be back.
The breakfast was lacking choice, no mushrooms, black pudding or hash browns which would be expected in a hotel like this. The eggs were brought out on cold plates so stone cold both mornings. Definate not worth what is charged. Very dissapointed.
The room was cold, we asked reception if they could provide a heater and was told no. The radiator in the room needed bleeding which was poor maintenance. Also on leaving the Receptionist took our car parking payment then just said 'that's it' no thank you, hope you enjoyed your stay, not even goodbye. Very poor.

great location, lovely old building with character.
The room had an attached lounge which we weren't expecting but were very pleased with. The breakfast was also very good with an excellent selection.

Lovely hotel would definitely return. Highly recommended
Very central. Let us check in early. Lovely reception staff.
Food kept running out at breakfast but we did eat at the busiest time. Long queue for toast would suggest 2 toasters on busy days.

The Parking was a Nightmare . They need to partner up with a bigger hotel that has lots of free spaces . Not enough parking for the size of hotel
