Great location, owner was lovely but needs to be better standard of cleaning.

The owner was very accommodating and friendly

It wasnt very clean. The room we were in hadnt been hoovered or cleaned since the person before. The noise at night from other guests was terrible to the point we were kept awake most of the night.

One of my first choices in future.

It was a real stroke of luck finding this place at the last minute at a bargain price, apparently due to a cancellation. It was the best value for money I've ever had in Blackpool. Although the room was described as a single the bed was a small double size, and was extremely comfortable. The shower room was bigger than usual. The heating was on for a decent number of hours and the room stayed nice and warm. There were generous supplies of both drinks and toiletries. The wifi was fairly good. The host was very pleasant and helpful. And on top of all this I got a full cooked breakfast at no extra cost! Amazing!

For the price I paid I really wouldn't criticise anything. If I was being picky, I'd say that the hot water tap only produced a very thin stream of water.

Once bitten...!

Very disappointed. See below.

I booked this place based on the booking.com rating. I have never known a rating to be so wrong. The photo of the hotel front on the website looks nothing like this hotel. Very misleading. I walked past the place a couple of times trying to find it. Terrible stench of 'wet dog' in the reception, which had an old carpet and was full of clutter.The only way to sort this out is to rip out the carpet and put in laminate flooring. The bedroom was a decent size but full of furniture. After two nights I ended up with bites all over my arms and neck which I suspect came from bedbugs, as they matched the photos on the NHS site. I was very worried that I had brought them home with me, but after putting everything through the washing machine I am glad I avoided it. I later read through previous reviews in more detail and saw that all of this had already been mentioned. I am very annoyed that after all these problems have been pointed out the owner(s) have not done anything to sort them out. I have stayed in plenty of B&B's in Blackpool before and never been bitten by bed bugs!
