Warm, comfortable and well situated for walking around St. Andrews

Hotel was close to St. Andrews University campus and that was the purpose of our visit. Staff were very friendly and accomodating.

Very friendly staff. Good selection of freshly made breakfast options. The hotel is well located in the small center of St. Andrews. Free public parking close to the hotel was possible.

Small room was indeed very small, with low ceiling. I wouldn't recommend to book this room for tall people and people with bigger luggage.

I enjoyed my stay at St Andrews and the Albany Hotel was very nice.

The room was very comfortable and the location of the hotel to restaurants, pubs and shops was excellent.

The housekeeping let the hotel down. The tea facilities were not replenished, used cups were not replaced and I dont think the bathroom was looked at except for the bin being emptied. At breakfast I didn't see the chef's freshly baked pancakes and scones that are mentioned on the website and I would of liked to sample them. Pity!
