Guests booked the smallest double room, found it too small but praised the hosts as wonderful people. The guesthouse was clean, breakfast delicious, and located across from the sea. They enjoyed visi (Read More)ting the Pier by train and Leigh on Sea by open top bus, with great views capturing the essence of the sea, summer, and nature. Weather in early September was a pleasant 23 degrees, making for a perfect weekend getaway.

Lovely guest house in a great location

Great location in close proximity to the Southend Beaches. Neil and Teresa are great hosts, very welcoming and friendly. Excellent breakfast menu. Room was nice and clean, very comfortable bed. Thanks a lot for a great stay!

Good value, clean B&B in a great location with a great breakfast.

The accommodation was in a perfect location on the sea front & only a short walk into the town centre. My room was very clean, with a comfy double bed, & the cooked breakfast was great. The host couldn't have been more helpful & I would not hesitate to stay here again.

A perfect quick getaway from London

Suenos Guesthouse is a little gem. Its a cliche to say that someplace has thought of everything, but in this case its true. A real home from home, run by folks who cant do enough for you. I went to hunker down and finish a writing project on a chilly weekend in December and could have stayed a week longer than I did. Moody, dramatic vistas of the sea from the front window; cosy afternoons by the fire; impeccably clean and well-appointed rooms. Perfection.

I didnt like the fact that I had to leave.

To start with I would like to say a huge thank you to Neil & Teresa who are the most amazing hosts, they really can't do enough for you. When arriving at the Suenos Guesthouse I received an extremely warm welcome from Neil, he gave me a quick and detailed run down on what they offer and lots of local advice including the best local restaurants and things to do etc. The decor is lovely and the clenliness in nothing short of exceptional! The breakfast was served by Teresa and it was incredible, I could taste that the food was to a very high standard and I finished everything that was on the plate (to add i'm a fussy eater). The fruit salad tasted so fresh and was very nice. The room was stunning and the bed was so comfortable which gave us both such a good nights sleep. The En-Suite bathroom was very lovely, being a plumbing & heating engineer it's the first thing I notice. Welcomed with a huge spacious bathroom which included a lovely traditional free standing roll top bath and a seperate shower cubicle (best of both worlds). The hotel is in a great location and we didn't hear a single noise all night. Will 100% be back again and I couldn't recommend Suenos Guesthouse enough 10/10 Aaron & Ashlee

I would recommend this hotel. It was an enjoyable luxourious experience.

I liked the cleanliness, comfortable bed, the decor, the breakfast, the Proprietors and the location.

Our room was in the attic, the stairs were steep and the last part of the staircase had a rope 'handrail' attached to the wall. I found that hard work. I'm a 67 yr old who should excercise more! But to be honest after a couple of days of negotiating the stair case it became easier!
