Very good

What a great stay would book again.

The cottage was old but done up so well the bathroom was outstanding and the kitchen.We would all book here again.

Superb

Lovely.

We were auditioning for LIPA drama school in the morning so it was a perfect location for us as it was a 4 minute walk away. It was a lovely house for a great price, enjoyed the whole time we were there. Lovely bathroom and living room especially.

It couldve been a little cleaner but nothing that actually bothered us.

A very disappointing experience

Location and the beds were comfortable

Extremely dirty, whole property needs a thorough deep clean, the kitchen cupboard doors, extractor fan, sink and draining board was filthy. Door frames, mirrors, lights and windows and lounge floor needed a good cleaning too, there is a box in the lounge used as a coffee rable needs cleaning inside, the bathroom window didn't close, could not use the dining table chairs not practical, one is broken and impossibleto put your legs under as the table is too low. No instructions on how to use the heating system, we were frozen had to sit with our hat, coat and gloves on. The whole experience was very disappointing. Would NOT book again or recommend

great location but disappointing over all

the location is great and the property is spacious just a 10 min walk into the centre of liverpool

where do i start the ground floor windows are screwed shut which was worrying, the property stunk of weed/cannabis for most of our stay i believe this was coming from next door, there was washing stuffed in the machine, the sink had a multiple huge cracks in it and we had a work man banging on the door the let him in so he could measure it, we were not advised he was coming, the shower door didn't shut properly and the place just looked run down. i believe there was also what looked like weed/ cannabis remains all over the coffee table

The picture advertised is not the property!!! Was very confused when we arrived as thought it was the wrong address!! False advertising of property, It was freezing cold and had to ask how to turn the heating on, the control on the wall didnt work as I found out when checking the boiler the heating was turned off!! Mattress were dirty and had collapsed on one side, made it very uncomfortable! The mirrors, kitchen cupboards were all dirty!

Lovely cute cottage In a brilliant location. No issues but can see some of the work is DIY

Lovely location and cute cottage. Lots of things inside that you need like iron, glassware etc and the interior design is lovely for a group staying away. Its close enough to everywhere and big enough for how many it sleeps.

it is clear some of the DIY work has been done cheap - shower door didnt close properly and cladding as skirting boards in the living room albeit it didnt effect us, if these werent the case - would be no issues. Dining room chair stool also broke and could be dangerous as not noticeable at first.

We noticed a rotting smell as soon as we walked in the house, and upstairs was unbearable. Contacted the owner who came and said he couldnt smell anything, even after an independent passer by came in and said they could smell it also. We were told we could cancel but he would not refund the money even though the rotting smell was so strong. Their was vermin poison box behind one of the settees and cigarette burns in the duvet covers. No heating downstairs and the tv didn't work. We spent less than 25minutes there before we left and drove home. This was a birthday treat for my dads 77th birthday....worst house I have ever been in. I would give it no rating at all if the option was here to do so. We are just hoping that booking.com help us out here....do not rent this property. The only thing this has going for it is the location.
