The Sheraton Duluth Hotel in Downtown Duluth provided a great experience for a birthday weekend getaway. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the room had a great view of Lake Superior. The (Read More)facilities were clean, beds comfortable, and the location was perfect. The restaurant offered great food and prompt service. The only downsides were obstructed lake views and thin walls, but overall, it was a pleasant stay at a good price. Nearby activities included being close to Fitgers.

It was clean.
Why doesn't a hotel let their customers know in advance when the hot tub and pool are closed? Had I known I would have stayed at one of the other hotels in Duluth.....I was really looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub, unfortunately it was closed for construction. I live in the Twin Cities and visit Duluth once or twice a year and I won't be staying at the Duluth Sheridan again--I feel like I didn't get my money's worth and missed out. They also charge $8 a night to park in the ramp--funny, they don't mention that when booking.

The room and view of Lake Superior were great! The location was easy walking distance to restaurants and shopping.
Parking was hard to find. They do have a public spot for free in the back of the hotel. We had to call and get directions.
