Stark, basic room, especially for the price, but ideal location

Location, in beautiful cathedral close and next to city centre. Excellent breakfast. Ample parking.

Hadn't realised it was still a working college so it was difficult to find reception, especially as usually nobody there. Definitely lacked a hotel approach. Room was basic: no TV, no biscuits and bed hard. Heating went off several times so, being December, it was soon cold.

Loved staying here, close to everything.

The breakfast was amazing, so much selection. This was a quiet, comfortable and unique historical building. Very enjoyable place to stay right across from Cathedral which is amazing.

Lovely surroundings just across from the wonderful Salisbury catherderal and pleasent walk into town

I found breakfast to be exceptional especially the creamy porridge in a lovely sunny dinning room and layout spacious,relaxing under no pressure to hurry, very friendly staff and chatted with other residents,

I will stay there regularly, as its good value, big desk for working. Great location for exploring.

This place is a one off. Its a religious college that is renting out rooms. I have the cheap ones. You have a sink in your room but shared facilities, toilet and bathroom. I am on business so just need to get hear down. But it is right next to the Cathedral with great access to the town. If you want a cheap quiet place, with a hood breakfast (get there early, I have stayed twice, the first time the breakfast was not so good, but I got there early, and it was much better. By early, it opens at 8, that is too late for serious business, but fine for holidays.

I bring a sleeping bag as it a drafty old place. They heating bill must be huge. Breakfast on my 2 stays, first time, 6/10, then 8/10.

Two nights at Sarum College in Salisbury Cathedral Close

The location is perfect. The scenery could not be improved upon. The shower was good, best water pressure I have seen in any accommodation in recent years.
