Relaxing weekend not far from home

Fabulous relaxing weekend! Marianne and Adrian were great hosts who found the balance of being there when you needed but giving you space. The breakfasts were beautiful and it was magical sitting in the winter sun on the verandah. Do yourself a favour and book dinner. Took our Labrador and she was very welcomed. Regrets - should have booked a 3rd night and should have booked 1 1/2 hr not 1 hr massage.

No complaints to be found here.

Lovely location, great place to relax

Marianne was lovely and met us at the location. She was super friendly and keen for us to enjoy our stay. She forgot to give us the keys I think, which might not have been an issue except that the door itself locked and we couldn't get out! So then Adrian had to come and unlock us/give us the key. The location is beautiful, and the outlook just lovely.

Communication about what was included/not included could have been improved a bit. We weren't clear if breakfast was included (booking form said no, $30 pp) but when we left not having eaten breakfast, they took some money off as we hadn't eaten there. There were no tea towels, only one spoon and not enough toilet paper - not major problems, and could be easily fixed. And it would be helpful if there was some written info onsite, like what the internet password is, and instructions re BBQ for example.

Getting back to nature. Great time to relax and unwind. Limited internet so plenty of time to do other things other than on your phone or screentime. Beautiful gardens and walking. Lots of birds. Would definitely come back for a longer stay.
