EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD ACCOMMODATION AND HOSPITALITY
Our hosts John and Sandra were extra helpful. The room and house were very clean and tidy. The breakfast we enjoyed was first class. A bonus was the mass of snacks and drinks which were supplied. We could find no fault with the arrangements at all and it was excellent value at the price. Parking was also spacious and we could unload at the door. Our dog Brogue also enjoyed his stay.
Only slight niggle was that from the description on line it appeared we would not get breakfast so we brought our own. Nothing could have been further from the truth as we enjoyed a massive choice of hot food of very high quality. This is something the owners need to correct as it is a great draw if you get an excellent start to the day.

Warm, welcoming and superb accommodation
I booked a room really late as was on a camping road trip but got very cold and rainy. Hosts Sandra and John were so generous in accepting my reservation at very short notice. Budget price but facilities were second to none with everything you could ask for in the comfy, spacious room including en suite shower/toilet, microwave, kettle with complimentary tea and coffee (so needed after a cold day birdwatching on some cliffs!), fridge with drinks and snacks if needed, super clean, comfy large bed, TV and wifi. I did not have breakfast though I have no doubt it would have been every bit as wonderful as the room. I would have no hesitation in recommending this guest house for anyone looking for a base to explore the wider region. It was about 10 miles from where I was visiting - RSPB Troup Head and fishing villages on Banffshire coast - but I didn't mind the extra few miles for such a warm and welcoming rest place. Next day, travel to Newburgh and other attractions on Peterhead side of coast were within easy reach by car. Hope to return in the not to distant future as perfect accommodation and an area well-worth exploring much more.

Perfect, so glad I found the guest house instead of going for a big chain hotel in one of the towns
Very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was first class with a large range of snacks and refreshments supplied free of charge. We booked a twin room with single beds which were very comfortable. The shower was great. Super value for money.
