Guests enjoyed their stay at Ringwood Hall Hotel & Spa, praising the clean and spacious rooms, good restaurant with varied menu, and excellent spa facilities. Some minor maintenance issues were noted (Read More) in the rooms, but overall the stay was comfortable. The spa day package was highly recommended, including lunch, welcome drink, massage and access to well-maintained facilities. The friendly staff and delicious food were highlights, although some areas were cold and the Coach House dining area was draughty. Advanced booking is necessary for the small but pleasant spa.

Disappointing

Ok

Lovely food and comfy bed.

Expensive for what we got- garden view disappointing as well we could see were dead trees. I thought it included breakfast but we had to pay extra. Some of the staff were very good but a couple were dreadful.

Lovely spa area, nice dining area, staff friendly and helpful. Bathroom nice, room clean, nice view of spa and grounds.

Heating system turns off at night, not back on u till 5pm in the evening so cannot control your own heating in your room. Shower took a while to heat as I was told the water has to travel around the system before it gets to our room. Single beds in standard suite a little small, grounds nice.

I liked Charlotte at reception and Adam at the bar, and person who showed us to the suite. All very professional and friendly. Charlotte was able to upgrade my room from the feature room to the suite after complaint. The breakfast was a full English very nice. The size of the suite is wonderful. The bath in the suite is large and deep, modern just right

The rooms are in need of a deep clean the feature room smelt of stayle cigarette, and old...the TV was at the side of the bed instead of front and the bath was under the breeze of the window, in the open main room. No shower in bathroom, room located in a busy area of hotel so lots of noisy passers-by, no privacy as they can hear you and you them...When complained and moved, the suite was a better layout but located right by the main road which sounded so noisy at night I got a 2hour period of sleep when the cars were gone. The room had loads and loads of small hairs about, and spider webs after complaint the cleaner dealt with the webs and some of the hairs but again it needs a deep clean, heater in bedroom didn't work had to complain and a replacement was given but it clicked throughout the night adding to noise...when you arrive for breakfast we didn't receive an initial friendly "good morning" main aim was "Did you register your room number"...first morning they ran out of the main foods by 9am...had to wait a while for them to replenish..shower in suite isn't powerful...my after feel was we wasted our money been a year before and the standard room was quite and out of the way, clean enough to feel comfortable

the potters shed offered parking, private entrance, seclusion from the main hotel, dog friendly, underfloor hearing, large bath and powerful shower, large bed possibly queen size, safe, tv, ironing facilities and tea/coffee facilities. The games room (the library) was a welcome addition. What food we had at the restaurant was very nice.

We were unable to get a spa booking despite being at the hotel for 3 days. The carpet in our room could use a deep clean. The restaurant menu options were limited. There were a number of ladybugs in one of our rooms, which we reported on check out.

Windows painted shut, blinds were broken, black mold around windows and window ledge, tv had mostly no signal, the pictures of my room did not reflect the room I received in any way, travel lodge or Premier Inn would have been more efficient and would have cost less.

One night stay for Christmas party

A lovely building and a super comfortable room.

If Id known how far from reception the room was I would have accepted the help offered with the luggage.

Over priced. Definitely not 4star more like 2. Everything below par.

Rooms were smelly and carpets dirty. Bathroom was in disrepair and unlclean. Restaurant evening meal food was cold. Staff were nervous and untrained. Manager oblivious. Lights not working. Windows filthy. No atmosphere. Doors locked to breakfast preventing any more coming in. Surely this is a fire hazard for those inside?? When we did get a table staff were more concerned with making up their own bacon sandwich orders preventing paying guests get to the food. Had to keep tracking down the person with the tea jugs to top up our tea. Refused to give us our own tea pot. Super disappointing. Has potential but clearly no one proud to work there. No one in control.
