Disappointing

Was ok would have been really ok if the room had been cleaned better. We mentioned the stink and the drug bags to recept

Very good location, easy walk into city. Good restaurants across Bridge.

Room absolutely stank of cigarettes. Really badly. Found drug bags under sofa. My child found them! The toilet was dirty. Had suspicious hairs on it.

Pet friendly and easy access to the city.

Convenient location to the city centre. Pet friendly.

The WiFi connection was terrible, there were smokers on our floor eventhough all rooms were non-smoking. No fridge or safe. The cleaner didnt change the beddings as there were marks still there at the foot of the bed. Our rooms were put at opposite ends to each other.

The shower head would not stay in the holder which was annoying.

Disappointing

Paid to stay in decent hotel only to be surrounded by drug taking homeless loud mouths

I have used this hotel on many stays whilst visiting gateshead. This time is definitely different more like a doss house for homeless unlike the superior hotel like it used to be. People outside taking drugs drinking. Having their animals there too. Common loud mouths bringing reputation of hotel down
