Early check in beautiful clean room with a powerful shower amazing views the leisure facilities were great nice breakfast and a 5 minute walk into the city center

The hotel was fantastic, the room was very clean, bed was very comfy. Although we did not use all the facilities, they were available for us to use, the hotel is a short walk from the centre, I made the mistake of not checking with the hotel first about the parking which can be used by anyone and paid for it through machines and also paid for it through the hotel, I spoke with the receptionist and it was sorted straight away but this was through my own fault, overall the stay was great and I look forward to returning in the future.

I would stay again, there was lots of silly mistakes which I found quote annoying, incorrect bills one at 73 the other at 28, again i shouldn't have to think while away, food in restaurant was lovely and really was brilliant but service was just unacceptable 45 minutes to clear a tables and left with dirty plates while staff stood around chatting!

The location is perfect as it's right next to the train station and I can check out before noon , leave my lugguage at hotel on my last day and do some final sightseeing before departure which is great.

Very good

We made the most of our visit.

Didn't have breakfast in the restaurant, but had it in the Garden Room on our checkout day and the scrambled egg and salmon was excellent.

Had one issue with room cleaning but that's it.

New year in York

Love this place! Second visit to see in the new year. Room fully equipped, clean, very spacious, great view, sat on our sofa and enjoyed the fireworks! Staff exceptional, nothing too much trouble. We indulged ourselves with room service for an evening meal, and a breakfast, prompt friendly service, and food good. Perfect place to stay, within easy walking distance of fabulous shops, restaraunts and bars.

Always tricky finding a parking space, once you've got one, don't move! Also extremely expensive per day, even for a city hotel.

The television had a lot of interference the signal strength of certain channels could not be picked up which is very annoying. In the technical savvy world we live in..

A decadent stay and a fabulous location.

Great location, gorgeous decor throughout and lovely rooms. A super warm welcome at the reception too!

No light above/near the full length mirror which made getting ready a little awkward. I also enquired about cocktails at the bar at which point the slightly disgruntled barman presented a menu and told me he didnt have a lot of the ingredients necessary but couldnt tell me which cocktails he could/couldnt make. Initially just not overly helpful.
