Guests were warmly welcomed and enjoyed the comfortable, clean rooms at Penny Hedge, Whitby. The staff were friendly and accommodating, with excellent service in the restaurant and bar. The food was (Read More)delicious and reasonably priced. Some minor room amenities could be improved, like more storage and better soundproofing. Overall, guests had a pleasant stay and would recommend the inn for its value and hospitality.

Amazing hotel, amazing pub and what lovely welcoming staff

Lovely hotel. We only used to stay here when we couldn't get in the centre of Whitby, but the hotel and the pub food staff the welcome you get far outweighs the location. It's a lovely walk into Whitby about 20mins and a taxi back after a few beers lol x

Basic, does almost exactly what you need for a stay!

Spacious, comfortable, 6 year old loved it! Free parking is ideal and bath nice and big. Thank you

For the price it would be nice to have a small kitchenette or a small fridge for longer stays but otherwise ideal.

Had a lovely short stay at this location.

Lovely restaurant. Good choices & well cooked. Room was spotless Location well appointed for travel into Whitby centre. Local supermarket within walking distance

Aircon wasn't very effective No drawer space at all. One or two would have been helpful. Surprised that there were no USB sockets at all in the room. Updating in this aspect is necessary.
