Very good

Very Good location, rooms and ambience. Well worth value for money.

The rooms, the decor and ambience of the hotel were excellent. Good breakfast spread which was inclusive.

The Derby full breakfast was okay - lacking a bit in taste and slightly over cooked sausages.

Superb

A very enjoyable & comfortable family stay

The hotel atmosphere was lovely Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bedroom & bed size was good. The Breakfasts were a lovely quality of generous sizes and my whole family thoroughly enjoyed all the meals served at The Red Lion restaurant. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the local area.

Log fires made the hotel very cozy during cold winter night.

Very good breakfast.

No shelving in walk in shower. Needed shampoo - had to come out of shower to get shampoo.

Fantastic staff and facilities, all round super hotel

The Chatsworth Suite is very well presented and a really good size. The room has a good-sized wardrobe and dressing area. The bed is nice and big and extremely comfortable. The whole hotel is tastefully decorated to a high standard. The staff are amazing and really can not do enough for you, really polite and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. Every single one of them made us feel very welcome and well taken care of, a credit to the hotel and owner. We also ate at The Red Lion restaurant on our first evening, and wow, the food was out of this world, the best pat and steak I've tasted in a long time. The breakfast was also fantastic. Overall, it is a really lovely hotel and well worth the money, we will definitely be returning.

Very good

Pleasant stay however for the price could have been better.

The restaurant and bar facilities are very good.

No real dislikes but small attention to details are overlooked such as the towels were not would you expect from this type of hotel. Can be very noisy at times.

A very friendly, warm and welcoming hotel with a great atmosphere!

A very friendly, warm and welcoming hotel with a great atmosphere. Rooms of a high quality and the staff are excellent who certainly go above and beyond! Highly recommend. This was our second stay and certainly wont be the last!
