One Night at a Frankfurt Airport Hotel

The Park Inn by Radisson Frankfurt Airport is as you would expect a classic airport hotel in that its purpose is to provide a room for either the night you arrive or where you have an early morning departure. As such the hotel is functional, adequate and serves its purpose. The rooms are adequately sized with the bare essentials for a one night stay. There is a coffee shop type restaurant within the hotel and an Italian restaurant across the street. The hotel is located within a newly built area where there are a number of other airport hotels but other than the Italian restaurant, I did not see any other shops. Refer to attached photos for details on how to get to the hotel from both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. While the Park Inn may not be as conveniently located as either the Hilton or the Sheraton (both within the Terminal 1/The Squaire building complex) it is more than 50% cheaper and the little bit of hassle to get there is worth the saving.

The hotel offers 24-hour coffee for free on the ground floor which is perfect for people travelling a long distance to the hotel and for those who would leave the hotel early in the morning for the airport. This service is therefore suitable for its location and its main purpose. There are a few nice restaurants and supermarkets next to the hotel which makes it extremely easy to look for food and souvenirs. Also, the prices of these services are reasonable.

There is no kettle, water boiler, glasses, or water in the room. The shuttle bus to the airport is not suggested, as it is pricey and packed with so many people, takes a long time to the airport and stops many times to get other customers. Also, the bus would not stop at the terminal 2. It's faster to go with a taxi.

Not worth the Money!!

Location of the property which is very close to the Airport.

I'm sorry to tell you about my disappointing experience at Park Inn by Radisson Frankfurt. The denial of the AC issue and rude customer service are certainly concerning. It's disheartening when a prepaid stay falls short of expectations, resembling a lower-class hotel experience. My feedback has many areas areas for improvement in customer support and overall guest satisfaction but to start with having some basic hotel trained staff if you wanna call yourself a park inn radison chain.

It fulfilled my needs of a quiet stay close to Frankfurt airport. Clean facilities, courteous staff

Very clean and easy check in. Unfortunately the hotel had had a water main break so their dining room and kitchen were closed during my stay. But staff was very friendly and courteous.

Superb

Amazing value for money

Basic but has everything you need. 5 mins drive from the terminal. The guy in the reception was exceptionally nice - played with our daughter and brought her food and beverage from the already closed kitchen.

Disappointing

The people at the reception told us over phone that there is luggage storage facility for longer period( 3-4 days). And this was exactly why we went ahead with the booking. Upon reaching the hotel, we were met with utter disappointment as they refused to store our luggage. This was quite distressing as we had been travelling long distance with heavy luggage.
