Disappointing

Off street Parking

I realise it is out of season for Cornwall but on arrival at Owl House in the dark there was no interior lights to stair case at night, I had to use my phone torch to see my way . No emergency lights on the stairs in case of fire and a small powder extinguisher on top of the stairs that would be useless to help escape down the stair case in the event of fire due to increased like of visibility . The above are all serious safety issues . The building was cold with a dirty bathroom with mould in the tiles . Something on the bed cover that looked possibly like mouse droppings and a stained bed cover. The room had a smell and the light switch was grubby and although the kitchen had a fridge and a cooker I felt disinclined to use these facilities. I slept fully clothed for two nights on top of the bed and not in it and went home at three in the morning on my the last night rather than stay any longer . Im not one to make a fuss or complain but the price point was comparable to a place I had stayed at before on the same road, for the same money and that was much better. Sorry to be negative but it was not a good stay.

Happy stay in Cornwall

The room is very spacious and has very comfortable bed. The staff were amazing and friendly, and I enjoyed the stay there so much. Facilities were available in the Kitchen, and if I need something, the staff swiftly response. So best place to stay if you want to have a holiday or business trip.

The owners was so nice just treat as close as family

The property is so clean , tidy and have all needed They put a flower in each room as well among . The location is centre to all the beaches and shopping is very close. But from all the people we get is so nice. Jen and jay.
