Peaceful and restful stay

The vintage setup of the guest house was soothing and exquisite. The garden well maintained and beautiful. The location was excellent in that it was quite and peaceful yet close enough to places like the Brooklyn Mall for instance. The hosts were friendly, particularly the lady of the house. She arranged a new room for us when we were not happy with the bed in the room we were booked into. That's excellent customer service in my books.

The rooms didn't have air-conditioning. While comfortable, the beds have seen better days and should be replaced. In the room we were moved into, the shower is in the bathtub and I would suggest that the two be separated (there's enough space to do it) as the water spills over while showering. More towel racks would help too. Perhaps consider putting blinds in the other bedrooms to enhance privacy with the curtains open.

Superb

Lovely week long stay at Osborne House.

I had a great time at Osborne House while I was in Pretoria for work. Jeanette and Wynand were great hosts and I would highly recommend staying at Osborne House to anybody visiting Pretoria, particularly those travelling to Hatfield for sports-related events taking place at the TuksSports Village.

Disappointing Facility

Venue, the tranquility. Beautiful Garden

Bed at initial Room number 2,very old & squeaky sounds as you just sit on it. Then we where moved to room number 5 as other guests left, the bed in there much much better. Pillows also very old and I needed to fold a blanket for the pillows to be a bit comfortable. TV Set toooo small for even a Student Resbtou literally have to stand in front of it to see content , DStv package not even with Multi Choice Access package that is worth R100. 00 at least, the Open View allows you to only view content recorded by SABC, etc the only current content one can watch its news nogals on SABC at night. This was disappointing . What took a cup for me was the kiddies meal break fast, we booked in for 4 nights, for 2 breakfast we where served half a Vienna size of a sausage, 1 strip of bacon, 2 eggs, 2 slices of bread and a fruit salad toddlers portions was the entire breakfast. As a Coffee lover they did not have Coffee we drink in 2023, I had to settle for Ricoffee, no Jacob's Coffee/Souw Egbert or even cheap Nescafe. Then 2 days we where left with we decided not to eat there and find other places in Pretoria to get proper food from, Spur came to our rescue and KFC. *Compliment *The Security guard was just a Gentleman very polite, however very firm on his job. Then there was power outage, owners to the facility didn't even bother to communicate with us until we called to find out what could have been the problem. Lack of value to clients. Beauty Garden, peaceful area and being moved to room 5 bed where the only things keeping me there as my partner couldn't find us another accommodation, all places fully booked.

The breakfast was well prepared and tasty. The area is nice and quiet, lots of time to relax.

Eskom let us down for a full day but nothing management could do about that. We looked up to our minister of electricity to fix the problem

Superb hosts, gorgeous heritage house, excellent hospitality!

Such amazing hosts. They were kind and hospitable and did everything they could to make my stay easy. The room was really large with a separate space to work and doors opening to the pool. Breakfasts were delicious and they even let me invite two guests to breakfast one morning! The area was safe and quiet - I went for morning runs in the neighborhood and felt perfectly safe as a woman on my own. It was like a home away from home and I would definitely go back.

Nothing! It was perfect.
