The Ocean Beach Resort & Spa ASTON Collection Hotels received positive reviews for spacious rooms, excellent food, and a delightful experience. The beach was a bit far from the hotel, but the walk pr (Read More)ovided good exercise. The resort provided a wonderful and quiet time with perfect meals at the Victorian Restaurant. The beach view was beautiful, but getting to it required a short walk. The spa services were relaxing, although mosquitoes were a downside despite efforts to control them. Overall, guests enjoyed the ambiance, views, and service provided by the hospitality crew.

The Stay was Good.

A very Quiet Place for Family relaxation. Very Spacious rooms.

To include playing facilities such as swings, slides for Kids not just swimming pool. Also have a variety of sports like Pool tables, table tennis etc.

Great place for a private coyples' time

The room we stayed was fantastic. Spacious, huge comfy bed, nice bathroom and the housekeeping are doing a great job keeping it Mosquito and Bug free, the terrace was really nice. Pool and Poolbar very nice Staff is very friendly, though lacking some professionalism. We were more or less the only guests apart from a company's teambuilding. The SPA area is really nice, perfect place to bridge time between check out and departure. Special call out to Patrick who made our Valentine's a special one, Festus who was always there to clean up other waiters' mess, Mzungu who made sure we got our special requests at the Poolbar and Linda from the SPA!!

Despite being the more or less only paying guests, we felt a bit neglected at times,waiting really long for orders. The reception also seems not really up to the mark, a number of times we got conflicting information and they almost messed up our pre-organised special Valentine's - in the end it worked out super well though

Superb

calm green paradise

We had an awesome time. The Resort is a beautiful stay in a beautiful place. The employees do such a perfect job, from the cleaners to the gardeners and the waiters. Lucky for us, we have had the whole Resort almost for us alone. And we loved every second. The Suite we had was extremely spacious and the well equipped. The bathroom was large, the bed a dream and the fridge a great help. The Resort is at the calm end of the beach, and its a 5min walk from the pool to the sea. But a wonderful walk through sand dunes. We enjoyed it a lot!

The Internet connection was pretty bad in the whole resort. In the Suite as well as at the pool. But that was a minor issue.

pool is good.

Room was very nice; big and clean. The gardens landscape of the hotel was very good and tidy.

sea was a bit far. Hotel is near by the beach but not near by the sea, its across to the sea. Unfortunately, walking from the beach to the sea does not make you feel safe due to the local beach boys and sellers.

Excellent facilities, enjoyable stay, beach not very accessible.

The rooms I got were fantastic. Very good decor and furnishings, very clean and well kept. The beach expanse is too long and the distance from the rooms to the water's edge is nearly a kilometer, making it difficult to access the water.

Very good

A fantastic family trip with exceptional food

Very easy to reach from Malindi airport. Check in was smooth and welcome drink delicious. Rooms ready on arrival and grouped together. Meals had different choices every day and were exceptional. We had 2 special meals in the evening and the chef Samson and catering manager were excellent with assisting with these memorable dinners. All staff very friendly especially Faith, Dennis, Festus and Patrick.

The beach is located approx a 7 minute walk from the property so is not convenient for a swim for the guests.

Excellent hotel

I loved the staff they go out of there way to make you feel at home we really appreciated the service of the waiter by the name Vivian she was exceptional she made my children feel at home and they loved her so much.
