Disappointing

Uncomfortable and wont be back sadly

The room was so small and so hot it was impossible to sleep even with the window cracked and this was in December

A great place to stay

Everything was wonderful. Staff, especially Rachel, were so very helpful with information and suggestions. Loved the drink on arrival, the quirky design of the place, comfortable room and good location.

Handy hotel in a great location

Clean room and great sized bed that was comfy and had two pillows each, which I always hope for. The bathroom is small but the shower is good and I loved the light up mirror in there. There was a kettle in the room with tea and coffee and the TV let us cast streaming services from my phone like Netflix. The staff were very polite and friendly, we spoke to them pretty much every day. They gave us everything we asked for. We didn't use the breakfast or car park so can't speak on that. In all, everything was perfect for what we needed. The moxy is located perfectly, you're a minute's walk away from the city centre and one road away from the railway station. It's very modern inside and a big bar area. Free luggage storage too which you need a tag for so it's safe. Very happy with our stay

The light under the bed being a motion sensor was a bit annoying but it wasn't too much of an issue because if the bed sheet was covering it then it wouldn't turn on so we just kept the bed sheet over it. And there was only a ceiling light in the entry to the room and not one over the larger side of the room where the bed is so we had to just use the lamps over there

Superb

A very enjoyable, comfortable break away

We had a 2 night, midweek stay just after the busy festive period and had such a lovely, restful stay. Our stay was made all the more enjoyable due to the staff. They are so attentive, welcoming and genuinely there to help with anything we needed. We brought our dog with us and she was treated like a superstar, she was made to feel very welcome and that is rather unusual for hotel stays. Truly, a lovely experience. Huge shout-out to Rachel on reception and the guys on reception on both evenings. You're awesome

There's very little we didn't enjoy about our stay. The only thing I would say took away from the experience was there was a lot of noise related to housekeeping in the morning. Even still, it woke us up in time for breakfast both days.

Foxy Moxy

Nice and trendy hotel. Minimalistic and stylish! 15 mins walk to city, 7 mins to train station, by the canal and had handy Waitrose next door and great pub. Clean, new and well located.
