Guests were pleasantly surprised by the modern and stylish rooms at Mercure Ballarat, along with the impeccable grounds and attentive staff. The on-site restaurant, Azzuri, received rave reviews for (Read More)its delicious food and exceptional service. While the fully booked spa was a disappointment for one guest, another praised the hotel for hosting their wedding seamlessly, with a dedicated event coordinator, Nadia, who provided creative ideas and excellent service. Overall, highly recommended for a short getaway or special event.

Very comfortable and well set up unit

Lovely comfortable unit which was clean and well maintained. It overlooked a courtyard. Beds were extremely comfortable and blinds blocked out morning light well. 11am checkout was also appreciated.

Bedrooms are upstairs - I barricaded the staircase to make sure my toddler didn't wander down in the night.

The stay was perfect for a 2 night stay and was super cute and gave a huge homely feel

We loved having the carport right next to the room. The room gave us a staycation feel and the beds were huge and super comfy. It was in an ideal location and everything was within driving distance or the bus stops out the front.

Quiet rooms, loved the idea of cabin like accommodation

Bathroom old & tired, looked like it needed a good clean. Decided not to shower there, and had a shower at home when we arrived home.

I would find elsehwere to stay in Ballarat

The staff were friendly both at the front desk and in the restaurant. The bed was comfortavle and it was clean.

The room was was not reflective of the photos. This is an old motel property that needs refurbishment. The bathroom needs a total re-do and the shower water temperarture was either hot or cold. At the price we paid, I would have expected better.
