Guests were greeted warmly upon arrival and received assistance with parking. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. The rooms were cozy and clean, although slightly worn. The st (Read More)aff were friendly and accommodating, even upgrading guests to a deluxe room to be close to friends. The highlight was the made-to-order omelettes at breakfast, which were described as delicious. Overall, guests had a lovely stay and would recommend the hotel.

Very central for our stay .

The radiator was behind heavy curtains . I reported the hairdryer wasn't working on the night of arrival. Reported it on morning of departure again because nothing was done about it .

Exceptional

Was clean. Organised. Smells lovely. Got a change on my room on arrival, which was very lovely. So definitely would come back! Staff are funny specially the guy that checked me in. He knows how to make a guest laugh!

The music from one of the pubs across the road was a tad little loud, but thats not your fault.

Ideal for a short break.

Large spacious rooms. Pleasant staff. Rooms nice and clean.Straight forward check in and check out.

Carpet on main stair was a bit thread bare. There was a cigarette burn on my bedroom carpet and carpet was a bit threadbare too.

Staff were great as usual and bed was very comfortable. Room although starting to look a little old compared to newer hotels was still clean and relatively well equipped.

This was the first time we had stayed since the new wine bar across the road had opened. Our usual great night sleep was interrupted several times as they decided to noisily empty all their used bottles into the recycling at approximately 11pm, 12:30am and 2am. As this stay was on a Thursday I'd hate to experience it on a busy weekend night.

Comfy bed but little sleep

Bedding was clean and comfortable

Had to ask twice for coffee. Very noisy. Disturbed sleep. Squeaky floorboards in room above. Guest pacing up and down from 5.30-7.30am Guests chatting in corridor.
