The Marwell Hotel is described as a beautiful, rural and relaxing place with comfortable rooms. Some guests found the food and drink prices reasonable. Room with a forest view

The surroundings, view from the room and breakfast

On new year's eve there was not enough hot water for everyone to wash. No mattress cover.

Great breakfast, location and staff

The hotel is perfectly situated next to the zoo, great breakfast, the room was big and hotel staff always very accommodating. Great added bonus is the swimming pool

Exceptional

This is our 10th time staying.. we usually go to the zoo on new year's day then stay at the hotel for the evening. The food in the restaurant is always amazing too! The staff are always reall6 friendly too.

It's looking a little bit tired now... the pool facilities could do with a little spruce up.

Very good

Nice getaway

Enjoyed pool and Sauna. Bed was comfortable. Shower was good. Food was good.

Children running around bar/lounge area. Breakfast time was a bit hectic with tables uncleared, waiting on cutlery etc.

Disappointing

1 star hotel, worst beds have been sleeped

Nice location

Rooms are not been looked properly had a broken hand shower, the beds are to softs needs to replace and lastly no hot water in the evening, asked receptionist and said because of higher occupancy. What kind of hotel is this? After you paid for a service and cant guarantee what they advertised for. What a shame, really a good place but not looked after properly.

Do not stay here!

Sadly nit much.

The room was dirty, old and very dated. The walls were filthy and the bath didn't drain properly. The pool was so old and dirty around the sides with water stains on the lino and the changing rooms were freezing. The food was very over priced with sadly cheap produce used.
