Very good

Friendly, reliable and comfortable.

Check in was quick, by very friendly staff. The room was clean, as was the bathroom. Bed very comfortable with plenty of pillows. My room was situated at the rear of the hotel, so noise was to a minimum. Just right for a one night stopover. Did not have breakfast, but on the morning of check out I was able to leave my bag at the hotel for most of the day which was very useful. All in all I would certainly stay at Malmaison again.

Satisfactory with the exception of the loud music.

Pleasant room

Music in the dining room was so loud the bench on which I was sitting was jumping up and down with the bass notes. Staff turned the volume down briefly but it came up again. Staff explained that this was the management setting. Management needs to sit in the dining room to see how they feel. Music is an imposition in a dining room where guests simply want to hold a conversation.

Superb

Quirky treat of a hotel in Leeds!!!

A great location for exploring Leeds and for transport. Easy walking distance all around city centre. Stylish hotel, quirky rooms...I got exactly what I requested....near lift and the style of room preferred. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room. A good breakfast, hot was cooked to order (including kippers!), with an good continental buffet too. NIce and helpful staff...lovely check-in (and out)... At check-in, you get the option of no housekeeping (you can ask for tea/coffee replenishment at front desk) - if you avail of this, there is a voucher for a drink at the bar. Highly likely to return...treat myself!!!

Nice hotel in Leeds

Dog friendly :) Nice sized room and view of river. Good quiet location in the heart of Leeds. Close to train station. Staff are very friendly too.

The hotel is nice but in need of a facelift. All looking a bit tired. The pillows were dreadful flat shapeless things

Convenient location. Comfortable room.

Bathroom was pretty shabby. The basin unit had been broken and glued back together, the chrome was coming off the taps and waste and the basin itself was chipped. The hot water wasn't hot either.
