Exceptional

Comfortable elegance.

Great location and well done decor within a historic building. The bed was amazing! It was extremely comfortable. The in room coffee was very nice touch. I typically travel with my own coffee maker but left it at home knowing what was waiting on me at the Magnolia.

That I had to check out early for an event.

Disappointing

The stay was ok at best.

The hotel was nice except there were small bugs in the sink when we arrived. I was able to rinse them down but it still grossed me out since the room was supposed to be clean.

It was very frustrating there was no parking nearby. We had to pay $48 to valet for just the one night and we didnt even have the valet drive our vehicle. We parked it and picked it up. I tried to find another parking garage down the street but none were tall enough to accommodate the height for our truck.

Disappointing

Very disappointed with the hotel but staff were good and was offered a free upgrade to a suite.

Dirty rooms, stained carpets, weird smells, noisy rooms (heard other rooms flushing the toilet), poor airconditioning. I moved hotel without getting a refund.

I'll be back

Super convenient to the America's Center. The bed, blanket, and sheets were so comfortable to slip into after a long day, it was really nice. The king room is bigger than a lot of studio apartments. Staff are friendly, and the bar/restaurant has good food and cocktails.

Overall, the state was adequate.

The staff were absolutely amazing! They were so professional and friendly. The rooms were nice and very convenient to our conference location.

When we went to check in the couch that is in the room, had stuff under the cushions like candy, wrappers, a wrapper from a granola bar, and cracker pieces. It had not been cleaned or vacuumed. We requested a new room. The staff was very helpful and immediately helped us move into a new room. The new room was spotless. For breakfast we had dirty silverware, but the staff immediately brought fresh silverware. Breakfast was good, but they were out of many items including breakfast, potatoes, and oatmeal. They were great about providing a substitution and accommodating preferences. The cost of the hotel was extremely high. I was willing to pay it because it was so close to our conference and allowed us to walk.
