Great location

Location fantastic for walking into town. Bed is comfy and the gentleman who owns the property was v friendly

Rather than a kettle in each room, the tea and coffee (and cereal) area is in hall outside the 4 rooms. This means that whatever time the first guest is up making drinks, the noise travels in to all other rooms. The step in shower is v dangerous, floor is black and step down is at an angle, v east to stumble out of shower

Great staff, very clean room, amazing service

Absolutely incredible service, such a cute place and the room was very clean! Loved it here. Our room had a little fridge and outside the room there was a small kitchen area with cereal, coffee, tea and cold water bottles for guests!

The only thing I would change: maybe dont use so heavily scented laundry detergent as the towels and the sheets were pretty heavily scented, and some people (including me) are quite sensitive to scents :)

Brilliant location with friendly owner and extremely clean.

Fantastic central location. Very clean accommodation with extremely friendly owner. Nice wee kitchen area just outside the bedroom which was extremely handy.

Brilliant. Warm. Cosy.

Too much to mention. Decor. Dog friendly free. Free parking. Endless supply of hot water and biscuits for drinks. Good substitute fir the kettle. Nice hosts. Felt very welcome. Hosts kept in touch to make sure we got there OK. A lot of hotels charge 15 or 20 for dog to stay and also the car park would have been 15. Good quality . Lovely and warm

Superb

Situated off Crown Street, a short walk from Street so a good location. House was nice and warm and the shower was a decent power shower. Room was tidied and cleaned daily to a great standard, it has a very good Indian Restaurant at the end of the road. Nice touch is the stags head in the lobby, house is like a scottish victorian hunting lodge!

As a last minute booking it was good value and very close to the city centre and train station.

Comfortable bed, warm room, good location, friendly and helpful staff. Good team/coffee/breakfast facilities.

The lock on my room didn't work, would have preferred a private bathroom but only shared was available when booking.

The stay at Lochnagar was beyond my expectations (which were high after reading many reviews). The place is charming, very tidy, clean, quiet and comfortable. Location was also very convenient for me - on a quiet street, but 5-10 minutes from anywhere (city center, bust station, train station, Union Square mall). In addition, Neil, the host was especially kind and highly responsive, reaching out before my arrival and during my stay.
