Guests had mixed experiences at Leonardo Hotel Newcastle Quayside. One guest had a room with an overpowering smell from freshly cleaned carpets but was quickly moved to a lovely room with a stunning (Read More)view. Another guest enjoyed a spacious and clean room with a comfortable bed and powerful shower, but had to use a nearby public car park due to limited space on site. Both guests praised the friendly staff and great overall value of their stay.

Poor

Was clean.

Thought we were getting a large window like the photo of a superior double room . Would not have booked if we had known we were only getting a small window, this was the only reason we booked this hotel . Reception said there were no rooms available with a large window. Bed wobbled and made a noise every time my husband turned over in bed which kept me awake.. Heating kept going off , reception brought us a small electric heater .

The bathroom was very tired. Mould around bath. The bath/shower was lethal to have a shower in. The shape of the bath was like a 'U' shape profile making is dangerous to stand in
