Pleasant but overpriced

Clean, sleek room. Lovely bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff on reception.

Double bed was two singles put together and made up as singles. View was of a gym directly opposite. Bar food not available at 9pm so I had to eat at the restaurant which wasn't really what I wanted. No complimentary refreshments in room.

Exceptional

Beauty by the lake!

The hotel is stunning, the location by the lake is really fantastic. The room was gorgeous and clean, and the view of the lake and mountains from the room was amazing. From the reception to the restaurant, the hotel was really value for money. I wholeheartedly recommend the hotel to folks traveling to Geneva.

Nothing, it was perfect. The location, the ambience, the cleanliness- it made so much sense.

My stay was very pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel. I'd like to stay again.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was clean and well decorated. I adored the view of the lake. If you take breakfast or dinner in the restaurant of the hotel, you can enjoy the incredible view too.

The electric plugs are Swiss standard and you need a converter. If it is first time visiting Switzerland you need to bring your converter. We asked to reception and they helped providing a converter during our stay with a small deposit. You can buy it in any Migros for 10 CHF too.

It was clean and the staff was very friendly

The temperature in the room (23C!!!!) and the air conditioning that was blowing the whole night. The temperature system is regulated centrally and so it is impossible to lower the temperature and / or switch off the air conditioning.

Fairly productive business trip.

The staff was very helpful, especially Debora at the desk and Joseph in the restaurant. The room was small and fairly noisy - but this is Versoix with the train tracks nearby and with jet arrivals overhead. The worse thing was the damn church bells at 7:00 AM every morning. Versoix - so ideally situated for my work at the UN because of the access to public transport. It was nice to get a "free" travel card. That almost makes up for the exorbitant parking rate of 21 CHF / day without a ceiling. It was also very convenient to have a COOP supermarket just down stairs and a very nice cafe - Guillame Bichet across the street. Another nice feature was the arrangement with the Let's Go gym franchise. Unfortunately it was paying - 15 CHF - per visit and only available to hotel guests when there is an attendant at the gym. The most annoying thing about the hotel is the lifts. The buttons to call the lifts are not always responsive. And that's just the beginning. Once in the lift, you have to use your magnetic key in order to select your floor. Frequently you this arrangement did not work. You would pass the key over the sensor and select a floor only to be stuck in the lobby. After three or four tries it usually worked but still... when you are in a hurry, this is no fun. I ended up just taking the stairs. No security on access to the stairs. Go figure. I think there are cheaper alternatives to this hotel but again it is ideally situated and Versoix is a very nice if noisy venue.
