Exceptional Stay and Great Hosts: Highly Recommended

I had a lovely/wonderful stay at Kandy City Village- This is one of the best guesthouses I have stayed at in all my travels. The room/bathroom was perfect; spacious, comfortable clean. I had a hearty breakfast every morning. Everyone (in the family) were so kind, helpful and gracious. The service provided was exceptional. I extended my stay for a couple of nights as I decided to travel(day trips) from Kandy City Village (as my base) to Sigiriya/Pinnawala, and Nuwara Eliya. Sultan was a star in helping to arrange a guide and driver: Ali provided great service as he was both my guide and Tuc-Tuc driver for all my trips (this includes going to the ayurvedic centre; the temples; the Elephant Sanctuary etc.). Ali showed me some other good spots on our booked trips- He was kind and helpful- highly recommended. Thank you so much for making me feel welcomed and at home. I look forward to returning one day.

BEST OVERALL EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD AT ANY HOMESTAY

Everything about this place was FANTASTIC. Sultan (the owner) is extremely helpfull, incredibly friendly. He went out of his way to get to know you, ask how your excursions were and offering drinks. The breakfast was great and the rooms were cozy, comfortable and clean. It has balcony as well. I feel like my home to stay here. Definitely, love to comeback in Kandy and stay again here!

The property is set in a beautiful garden. The property itself is large and spacious. It is maintained to the highest standard and is immaculately clean throughout. I also enjoyed having a balcony looking out to the surrounding mountains. I received a warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble throughout my stay. The breakfast was huge and varied.

I cannot say anything negative about the property.

My stay has been a total respite from the stresses of travelling.

The property is an oasis of calm, with a beautiful garden. All the staff were friendly, kind and helpful with nothing being too much trouble. All facilities were of a high standard. The entire property was clean and maintained to a high standard. I felt completely safe being a solo traveller. I have already booked a room for my return to Kandy.

There is nothing negative I can say about this property.

This accomodation was one of my favourites! Staff were really nice, tried to do their best. Location is close to Kandy railway station. I hale forgotten mobile charger there and owner wrote me about that; was very kind! AC available, room has enough spaces, for elecricity you will need converter if you have EU adapters.

Perfect accomodation in Kandy

I had nice time in Kandy also because I stayed in this accommodation. The owner was the best from all guest houses I had in Sri Lanka. He can help you with everything what you will need. He is very good man with good heart. My single room was like a hotel room with nice and new bathroom. Internet works perfectly so I could work. He also sells water with regular price in the accommodation. He can give you many tips about activities near Kandy. Location of the house is in quiet street but very closed to the main road. If you go to Kandy stay here.

The host was really kind, he went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect stay, even though we were there just for 1 night. He and his family were the sweetest. The room was big and exceptionally clean. The balcony was a nice touch. The bathroom was equipped with shampoo and soap and it was very clean. Towels were provided as well. The breakfast was abundant and really tasty!

Nothing, it was a perfect stay! If we ever come back to Kandy, we'll choose this place again with no hesitation!
