The Jewel Grande Montego Bay Resort and Spa received positive reviews from guests. They were pleased with the room upgrades, great food and drinks, and the late-night bar. The spa offered a relaxing (Read More)experience and the resort had a beautiful location. The staff was highly praised for their service and the beach was enjoyable, though occasionally dirty. Guests enjoyed the 24/7 room service and variety of food options. Overall, guests highly recommend the resort for a quiet beach getaway with excellent service.

Very good

Location and staff and food were great. Shower in room leaked all week and was never fixed (after telling the front desk about the issue 4 times). Also, was forced to pay $1,500 at check in because booking.com messed up our reservation and only charged for 2 adults instead of 2 adults and 2 kids (even though we booked a package with flights and room together).

Room was a little run down.

We will not be staying at the Jewel grande Montego Bay again

The location of the property was satisfactory

We did not like the weather, the staff, the food, the lack of coral reef, the noisy entertainment at night, the faulty, power quality, we had several power outages while we were here. Of course when the power goes out, the Internet was out, so no Wi-Fi. We had a negative experience.

Lovely property, too bad it is relatively unaccessible, and costly to leave.

Breakfast Buffet and Le Bouchon steakhouse were fantastic! Staff very friendly and helpful.

No ATM on site, because Hotel is only accessible by highway, one is dependent on taxi services which tend to manipulate their rates, despite being posted on a sandwich board outside the main lobby, we were charged more than the posted rates.

I love how no matter what issue I had my butlers and front desk staff was able to assist.

I didnt like when I arrived to my villa there was no utensils or plates to cut my birthday cake and share with my family.

Service most times was decent, butlers were attentive. But over maintenance on certain aspects of hotel could be better

Conveniently located

Air conditioning wasnt working in restaurants or main parts of hotels. Rooms were fine. Food quality was average not exceptional. Food served as Jamaican not authentic. Jerk chicken was BBQ chicken with jerk sauce. Steak restaurant steaks had to much salt. Drinks were not consistently made. Sometimes they were not drinkable
