Lovely location, not in JBay though

Beautiful location, spectacular views. Lovely to have Zebra and bushbuck wandering around. Overall friendly, helpful staff

We didn't realise when we booked that it is not in JBay, but about 30 mins drive away. The name is a little misleading. We had staff come into our room before we'd checked out(I was actually still in the room getting ready!) To "check what we'd used" . That felt a bit unnecessary and not very professional. We also had some issues with the way breakfast was served - all the food placed on our table before we'd even gotten to the dining room, and covered in flies as none of it was covered up. A bit grim. Unfortunate as breakfast looked lovely but we didn't eat much of it because of that. Perhaps better to wait until guests actually there ,/ or cover everything up.

We liked there were zebras on the property.

The staff were stiff, a rather awkward trying to converse, it didnt feel warm or welcoming. We did laundry and item wasnt washed but still charged for it, even though they said it wouldnt have been I could see as I was paying and it wasnt even checked properly when questioned. No wifi at all in the rooms which was very shocking, considering theres nothing to do on property it wouldve been good to atleast have WiFi.

Wow, wow, wow. What a place! We had an absolutely amazing stay. The accommodation, the staff, the food, the zebras! We honestly couldn't have asked for more, and everything was spot on. We can't wait to return in the future.

This is 100 out of 10! A truly exceptional place. Excellent in every detail. Beautiful views of the hills and ocean, luxurious chalets with fireplaces, everything is thought out to the smallest detail. The wonderful owners provide a truly warm welcome. Possibly the best hotel we have ever stayed at. Be sure to book dinner at the hotel - it's amazing - and try the wine that was developed for this amazing location.

Please read this review! Amazing experience!

This place is truly a 10 out of 10, I've been on this Earth for 33 years and have not been to such a magical place. Everything from the owners to the staff to the lodge and of course of the zebras in his beyond your comprehension. I would highly recommend anyone to go out of their way to experience what we experienced. I have stayed at hotels that cost over $1,000 a night and this one is by far the most magical. This place tells a story of a couple who wanted to live a life by their own means and share it with the world.

Very good

Lovely weekend away

The staff were exceptional. The setting was stunning. Breakfasts were fantastic.

Other than breakfast which was wonderful. The other meals were limited and slightly expensive for South Africans, but still extremely tasty. Bookings.com did say that there was a TV in the tent but there wasn't.
