Nice, comfortable stay

Room was luxurious and comfortable. Didn't want to leave it!

Being woken up by the fire alarm at 1.30am. Could have managed the leaving of guests from a party better to avoid disturbing other guests

First stay

It was cosy and warm when we finally arrived.

Staff weren't very clear with directions to the pod and we found ourself going to each pod to find it being incorrect. We found the outside path lighting to be very poor as when we arrived we couldn't see very well due to stormy wet weathers. Lots of unlit parts on the path. No outside light on our pod which didn't help. Our bed was very firm and uncomfortable , my partner struggled to get a good sleep due to this.

Amazing hotel with huge suite room

Everything, our new favorite hotel. The size of the hotel was enormous and the deep bath tub was amazing. The hotel is beautiful.

Perfect family wedding

Room was lovely, we stayed for a family wedding and it was perfect. Food was lovely and staff very friendly

The pressure from the shower was poor, which didnt fit with the decor and grandeur bathroom overall. It was the only thing I can comment on

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff, our stay was excellent value and we hope to return

The house itself is beautiful. Our room was lovely and the spa suited us really well. The outdoor hot tub is under cover so perfect for a rainy afternoon! We also had dinner which was good value and although quite a classic menu was all well cooked and delicious. Breakfast was excellent from the hot buffet - again very traditional but excellent. The staff were helpful.

There are just some details which could be better. The toiletries were very limited - shampoo and body wash only. There were no biscuits to have with coffee in the room. Our shower was strange with the lovely rain shower head being so near the shower cabinet door you could hardly stand under it! The cold buffet breakfast was fine but very limited and the fruit selection looked rather sad.

Disappointing

Lovely public spaces

Staff friendly but a bit noisy in such a quiet setting a bit like guests were incidental. The bedroom was a very small double, with ghastly furniture.no chair, coat hangers on the back of the door (and no soap) completely out of step with the public spaces. At 90 B&B in early December when prices were low, I would have expected something more. Yes, I did mention to staff answer on check out? Oh we have a room smaller than that! The WiFi in the lounge was intermittent for my laptop I was advised to move around until I found a better signal
