The staff at Iberostar Selection Creta Marine were praised for their friendliness and helpfulness. The bungalows with sea views provided amazing sunsets. The pools were not overcrowded. The beach and theater were a bit of a walk, but the hotel provided assistance for those with mobility issues. The rooms were modern and clean. The resort had a variety of amenities and the food was above average. The animation team and restaurant staff were highly praised. The hotel offered activities such as water sports. Not as much fun as we had hoped to have!

Lovely looking property, with well tended gardens and lots of space.

Most of the staff seemed almost robotic likely due to the overlording by their loud and demanding floor managers. The food, like most these places, was a re-run of the previous meal. Even the daily highlight was modest.

Very good

The staff is super helpful. Do not hesitate to reach out to them if needed. Room is great and the bathroom is nice, pretty comfortable. Pool is great but we we not in the peak season, when I believe the number of chairs is not enough for everyone. Food is good, but we were expecting more Greek cuisine - they most likely make it general so it pleases more guests. The Vegghera restaurant has ok food, if you miss the chance of eating there, you are not missing much!

The drinks in the bar could be better and sometimes I wish we had more options in terms of snacks - only sandwich and donuts were offered in the pool bar. I missed toiletries in the room, maybe it would be a great addition.

Very good

The staff is super friendly and speaks, besides English, French, German and Spanish. Our room was amazing: big and very modern (the light switches were electronic / touch). The food was good but it could have more variety thoughout the days.

I think it isn't a hotel for young couples, because of the animation program and the whole vibe. Also the afternoon snacks almost non-existent

Superb

Relaxing garden resort with lagoon beaches

Resort stretched within well kept beautiful mediterranean garden with big variety of palms, trees, bushes and flowers. We chose one of sheltered lagoons for perfect sea swim in calm water. One could also swim out into the unsheltered area and enjoy floating in the waves or snorkelling as some guests did. Free sunbeds and umbrellas available on the beach. Nice pools which we didnt take advantage of though as we prefer the sea. Friendly staff and tasty food for breakfasts and dinners, for these with daily varied offer. We enjoyed a relaxing week at sea.

We took advantage of beach bar above the lagoon for drinks such as frapp, cola, lemonade and beer, but missed an offer of fruit or vegetable bowls or salads or some simple dishes (here there were just some sandwiches or pastries). There is a great offer of these for bfast and dinner, but some would be appreciated at the beach bar also during the day.

1. Stuff is very friendly, especially in main restaurant! 2. Nice view from balcony (of my room:) 3. Quite rich breakfast and dinner 4. good animation program 5. room is big enogh for 2 adults family with one child. There is a space even for luggedge 6. good smart home solution to manage light and air condition

1. lack of sand beach - only with stones 2. Parking located too far from the entrance (for my point of view). Need to dropp off luggedge, then re-park a car and then return back again to make a check-in. The same during checkout 3. When I checked-in to my room, I found out that there is a jacuzzi inside, but it doesn't work. When I came to the reception, they said that its activation will take a lot of time (about the whole night). And because I stayed only for 2 nights, it didn't make sence - but if I could know about this option beforehand, I would agree to pay extra 52 euro to have it activated when I checked-in to the room 4. No anti-moskito net on balcony door or repellent inside the room 5. Bodyguard in main pool doesn't speak english at all 6. Towel station works very short period of time with a break for lunch

Superb

Very enjoyable retreat with excellent service and food/dining facilities.

Meals provided were of a high standard and the layout of the complex was easy to navigate.

Traveling by car, the directions could have been more clear as the facility was outside Rethymnon. Also the car park was some distance away and not easily accessable
