The Hydro Majestic Blue Mountains offers an amazing experience with beautiful renovations, luxurious furnishings, and stunning views. Some rooms are small, but valley view rooms are recommended. The (Read More)service is exceptional and staff are attentive. Guests enjoyed high tea, dinner, and breakfast at the Wintergarden. The Eastern High Tea was delicious but slightly overpriced. Visitors highly recommend the desserts and appreciate the historical tour of the property.

Great views, okay on other fronts.

This hotels view is first class! Amazing location.

There are road works underway out the front making access challenging. It is a very old building and as we arrived in a storm, we could see all the leaks. The hotel does not offer room service, or a stocked mini bar, which we found unusual.

Location and view

Checkin staff unhelpful shouting directions from the bar pretending to be a check in desk across the room as to where we should drag our own bags. And check out staff couldnt even be bothered to ask if we had a nice stay. The room drank of damp the window doesnt open and there was so much noise from the room above I think they were tap dancing on a wooden floor. Even heard them go to the toilet at quarter to two on the morning

Lovely relaxing stay at the Hydro Majestic, gorgeous views, fascinating history and beautiful decor.

Loved the history and decor of the hydro Majestic. The views are just beautiful. The view from our room was like looking through a picture window. Waking up to the view was a real joy.

Our room and bathroom was a little too tiny for our liking but comfortable and very clean, with daily service. The upgrade of the road outside made it difficult to park, especially when high tea and restaurant serving. We ended up parking on the Pavilion end near the Boiler restaurant. It just meant a long walk through to our accommodation in Belgravia at the other end of the building, but we didnt mind as the decor and views were beautiful to admire and wander by.

Pleasant

Selling point is the view but not the facility or services. They can do more.

Location and view. Its heritage is great.

Lack of car parks (not enough). Poor layout in reception area. Poor maintenance of bushes outside blocking view. Motion sensed vent in bathroom is too noisy and does not work with when in shower. Lack of access to power sockets, need to modernise.

Beautiful getaway

If your looking for something different and unique I would recommend coming to this place with your parnter for a nice little quite get away, I do not recommend coming here with a larger group or with kids as there is not much spaces in rooms and not much for the children do. The food is beautiful and the valley view from the hotel is amazing, staff are really nice and bee is very comfortable.

The only thing I didnt like was the stairs but I guess thats how they keep the hotel original.

Exceptional

The staff and food are delightful

The greeting from May in Reception who then assisted with our bookings for afternoon tea, dinner and breakfast. Each staff member offered their birthday greetings to one of our party, all were most friendly and helpful. They made our stay perfect. The dining is high quality. All meals exceeded expectations. Whilst expensive our party was very delighted in our stay.

Sadly road works out front make arrival a bit tricky and the outside of the hotel falls far behind the comfort and luxury of the inside. So first impression was oh dear till we walked through the doors when it was ah lovely.
