Great rooms, but poor customer service.
The rooms and location were fantastic!
There were no signs informing the guests where the front desk was and no staff anywhere. We had to ask someone where the check-in desk was, and when we walked over to it, there was no staff. We had to just stand there and wait until a staff member came. That was the same scenario when we checked out.

Location was kinda nice to over look the shopping area.
Was difficult to find the front desk. If you can even call it that. Then I left because no one was at the desk witch looked like the restaurant area to pay your bill. It's up stairs with nothing downstairs saying front desk second floor.

Overall pleasant stay in comfortable and convenient hotel. Pull out sofa bed not comfortable.
Very close to Lagoon if you are planning to go there, thought the freeway makes it difficult to walk to Lagoon. Located in a busy outdoor shopping mall area, so lots of walk-able options for food, movie theater, shopping. Thermostat in the room worked well. It blew from the ceiling instead of those ones that blow right on you next to a window, so I was happy about that. Decent hot and cold breakfast items. Spa on, including bacon one day and sausage the next. the larger size for a hotel and hotter than a lot of hotel ones I've been in. Pleasant staff. Modern feel to the hotel. We stayed Friday and Saturday nights in October during Frightmares at Lagoon, and didn't hear neighbors or anything. Comfortable beds. Ice maker worked well. I thought the hotel ran a shuttle to Lagoon, but it is actually a free city shuttle I believe for the whole shopping mall that runs around there and to another hotel I think and to Lagoon and back. We didn't end up trying it.

The sofa pull out bed that we needed for kids was very uncomfortable even for kids. Felt like sleeping on springs. The information we got at check in said the pool was open from 6am to 10pm. The kids wanted a quick dip before packing up our last day. We went down about 6:40am and it was locked. Staff said they changed the time to 7am (no notice of this, not what the papers said). So we came back at 7:30am and still locked. So we asked someone to open it and they did. Pool is on the smaller side for a hotel but wasn't crowded when we used it around 6pm Friday night. There was not a microwave in the room, so I went down to the breakfast nook to pop popcorn. The mini-fridge did not have a freezer section, which I know they aren't usually all that big, but I had planned to slip something in it and was surprised to find it lacking. Hot breakfast eggs and potatoes were pretty plain but they did have salsa and cold cheese you could sprinkle yourself. Kids were disappointed no waffle maker. Sunday they did have a stack of premade Eggo style waffles as a choice.

Underwhelmed for the price we paid. Prefer to stay at other Farmington locations.
Nice walking ability to restaurants and shopping.
Wouldnt put us on the top floor, because we booked on a 3rd party. Even though we paid the same price as their website. There was dirt tracked through the elevator and lobby in the evening, still there the next day. Breakfast was sub-par. We chose to go eat elsewhere. Room was not very clean. Would have appreciated more pillows.

Our room was dirty. Dust everywhere, old food on the floor and stains on the comforter. Also, one of the days we were there they didnt clean the room. I asked when they were going to get to our room and they said that they already had. They had taken the wet towels and that was it. When I told them, oh I think it got missed! Then they sloppily made the beds. Very unimpressed with the cleanliness and care!
