Truly SOUND OF NATURE. BOND with Nature!

Truly SOUND OF NATURE. BOND with Nature... Surrounded with fresh morning air which we could hardly get in SG. Encompasses with the upmost hospitality from Owner Johnny (Tok Putih) & Zairul and their staff esp Eima & daughters. Simple but delicious traditional breakfasts. Serene sound of Azan & Quran recitations esp during dusks elevates us spiritually throughout our 5days. Isolated from public hence hardly heard any moving vehicles or deafening noises from crowds/Pubs etc but once reaching the main road, you could easily find all kinds of stall alongside including barber, apparels, gadgets, vapes foodstalls etc. Very well maintained greeneries. Air Con, ceiling fan, fridge & water pressure operating well. Abundance of socket oulets. Super strong & FAST Wifi signals. 24hr pantry is an added plus point. Availability of microwave, toaster & filtered drinking water dispenser. The idea of fridge located outside room is unique. It makes one the need to get up & walk to reach for cold drinks instead of easily reached within a room like hotels did. The fresh natural water flowing in the nearby earthed canal adds the ambience of bonding with NATURE. I even took dips in the canal. Only if steps provided so guest could sit & dip their feet to enjoy the water flow. Surprisingly, non bothers about any mosquito bites throughout our stays. Words couldnt describe our experiences staying at HujungKampung.

(1)High steps leading into Room 7 - difficult for my parents with walking difficulties. Ended placing bricks to partially resolve the issue. Suggest: to install hand rail along stairways leading to rooms as an added safety feature. (2)Toilet door (Room 3) unable to close. Latch & hole were misaligned. Didnt bother to inform staff as room was occupied by me & wife only. (3) Common lightings along the short walkway leading to individual rooms-to illuminate the ground as may get quite dark during night & dusks. Trip hazard to elderly. (4)Display PROMINENT & VISIBLE Signages to the location. Google map still did not show the newly paved route. Lost our way during 1st day but fortunately a kind elderly man showed us the way partially. Nonetheless, even got lost on our 2nd day. Afterwhich, we landmarked on a BIG RED signboard bearing 'OYO' which was planted along main road to return to HujungKampung.

Staff is really nice. Emma is really helpful. Breakfast is from 8-11, not too many options but delicious enough. The hotel is located within the forest, feel like a big hug to the nature. A car is need since it's a bit far away

Just a suggestion. A map might be helpful to navigate to the hotel.

Excellent value for money! Recommended to get the real jungle experience.

Excellent value for money but keep in mind that a car is needed as local taxi drivers hardly take orders to this place. Breakfast is lovely and the hosts are just superb.

my stay was working stay, but the relaxing atmosphere and great staff made my stay half to vacation

the most excellent was the staff working in hotel. also the pool in front room was great to take some relax after the work even anytime in the night; I can only strongly recommend this hotel for stay; FM from Japan; best regards to Emma :-)

Lovely environment, very friendly and helpful staff, 5 star breakfast. The room is very tidy and spacious. The pool is lovely and 24/24 available. You are truly surrounded by nature.

We must thank Emma for making our stay so pleasant. Also like to thank her for getting up early to make breakfast as we had an early flight. Also her breakfast selection has many options and anything Emma made herself was delicious. The gardens were well maintained

Towel rails needed for pool towels. Sliding door with fly screen other than that a great stay good value V tariff
