Hotel Varmaland is praised for being clean, modern, and well-designed with nice-sized rooms. The breakfast is average, but the dinner service is outstanding and highly recommended. The staff is amazi (Read More)ng and makes the stay excellent. The hotel is safe and secure. The location is fairly remote, so it is suggested to bring drinks beforehand. The hotel has a bar and lounge area available. Overall, it is a beautiful and fantastic hotel with great food, spacious rooms, and friendly staff.

Great view

This modern but still with a lot of flair Hotel off the main road is so ideal for relaxing. We enjoyed the junior suite, comfortable bed, sofa sitting area all amendments available. Most spectacular the breakfast/dinner upstairs 4th floor. Staff friendly, helpful, anytime again.

Good restaurant. Nice staff. Quick check-in and check-out. Calm area. Clean and big rooms. Comfy beds.

Breakfast area can get a little bit crowded.

Modern and comfy

Nicely refurbished hotel with easy-to-park option around. We were upgraded to a room on the 3rd floor with nice view. Breakfast was great in the 4th floor restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows around. Comfy bed, large screen TV with Netflix (for the long Iceland nights...).

The room and espacially the bathroom are slightly small. The ventilation in the bathroom is so strong that you can hear the air whistling in the windows slits (or if totally closed, through the electric connectors next to the bed).

Lovely room with spacious bathroom. Plenty of parking spaces. Great breakfast included, and we also ate in the hotel restaurant for our evening meal,which was also very enjoyable

Only small negative was bed very high, but once you had hoisted yourself up, it was very comfortable
