Dimora Fornillo in Positano offers beautiful scenery and friendly hosts. The rooms are spacious and clean with fantastic balcony views of the sea and cliffs. The breakfast in the garden is excellent. (Read More) The host, Franco, is especially helpful and went out of his way to assist with luggage and bus problems on check-out day. Off-season travelers are recommended to take the ferry.

The staff was super kind. The view from the room is amazing. The room terrace was super spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast at the garden (which has also an incredible view) was a very nice touch

Perfection-no notes!

The view was beautiful!!!!!

The are a lot of steps so this is just a warning for people to be prepared for that! Thats the whole city honestly but just for a note.

Amazing value

Amazing view, great staff, wonderful breakfast and the A/C worked well to top it off.

To get to the property it is a bit of a hike, I did not mind, but for some it may be difficult.

Magical views

The view from our room (57) was absolutely amazing. The room was spacious with a large terrace which had two sun loungers & an elegant table and chairs. The room also has a mini fridge. Breakfast was offered in the garden overlooking the bay and we were offered a good selection. There is a part private pathway and gate down to the beach, which cuts out a little of the 'hike'.

Obviously there are steps.....many, many steps. It's just part of the adventure but needs to be taken into account. There is a short walk from the drop off point to the hotel so it would be sensible not to go overloaded with bags. However, the hotel did bring our bags back up to the pick up point for us. I personally would have liked coffee making facilities in the room. The hair dryer isn't very powerful.

It was a pleasure staying here. Im certainly going to recommend it to friends.

Lovely staff. One of the best views of Positano - where ever view is incredible.

Our room was very spacious, simple, comfortable and very charming. The view was postcard perfect. The breakfast terrace is lovely. The staff are very helpful.

Amazing views, charming location and wonderful staff

Beautiful terrace views, wonderful accommodating staff and yummy breakfast options. Also close to the beach and town for shopping and restaurants.

The narrow stairway near the hotel made it difficult to get our bags up and down to the street. Luckily they have a bellboy who helps with this!

The property has a nice terrace to sit and admire the view. The room was spacious. Host was helpful and easy to communicate with prior to arrival.

The facilities felt very dated, which was to be expected given the price for the hotel is pretty reasonable for Positano. The bathroom and bedsheets could really do with being refreshed. It is clean but did feel a bit dated and dusty.

A must stay in Positano!

Location and host! Our host was awesome, she made reservations for us on restaurants she recommended and she nailed them! Super friendly and great service. Rooms are very clean and location is a nice walk to the center of Positano!
