Nice stay in the heart of Boca Grande Cartagena

Hotel Barlovento has a good location in Boca Grande. I thought that the room was very clean and modern. And La Lady at the front desk was very sweet and accommodating

The only issue I had here is that service for breakfast is a bit slow. It is not continental and self serve. You have to order with a waitress. If you are in a rush this may not be a good option. However the hotel is across the street from a cafe and a number of convenience stores if you need a quick bite.

Great hotel, close to beach. The reception staff are experienced. 70 percent of them speak English.

The breakfast was excellent. The restaurant staff were great.

I did not like the allocation of amount ceiling [300.000 pesos] for rooms.

Below what we expected.

The comfort, cleanliness and location.

Their POS did not work, we tried using 3 different credit cards, one of which got blocked by the bank because of this. Breakfast is a la carte and very limited. Water and bread is not included (only 1 slice). The "buffet" contains 2-3 fruits, butter and jam (but no bread), coffee and hot chocolate. Very few vegetarian options. Breakfast time was 6:30 - 10:00, but one day we had an early tour planned and we were at breakfast at 6:30; they did not serve us until 7:00.

Wonderful place and staff

The facilities are perfect.. very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.. the room has all what you need. At the front desk they speak English and Spanish. They are very well located. I would recommend this place to my friends and familly

Very convenient place to stay in Cartagena . But if you want to go to the beach . Go to Tierra bomba .

The staff is very friendly. Room service amazing , breakfasts delicious different good opcion. Room very clean .

Receptionist, fruits for breakfast, 24h supermarket next door, friendly staff

The noise of the AC during night. You are unable to sleep unless you turn it off! Thin walls - you can listen to your neighbors and ppl passing by.

Great place to stay

The staff were lovely , ever helpful. Esp Luiz on reception and the lady who ran the breakfast . But to be fair they were ALL great. We liked the pool and the breakfast

Room didnt have a hairdryer and the other thing we didnt like has absolutely nothing to do with the hotel but it was the aggressive beach vendors and rip off prices on the local boca grande beach , if I could put one person off going there I would as is enough to ruin anyones day
