Exceptional

Lovely hotel with great food, nightly entertainment and friendly staff.

We loved Hotel Astoria Playa. The hotel is very convenient to the beach and local bars and restaurants. From the minute we arrived the staff were very friendly. We don't usually go for all inclusive but glad we did! The food was excellent, particularly the evening buffet. Great entertainment each night, Would highly recommend

A good option to stay in Port d'Alcudia

I strongly recommend this hotel. It is excellent. The staff is wonderful, everyone is very friendly, polite, helpful and smily. 1000 points for them! The breakfast and dinner buffets are good and varied. The hotel is very light and airy. The room is like in the photos. Everything was clean. The bed is comfortable. The space to place/hang clothes is small. From the balcony I had a relaxing mountain. The fact that there is a small clothesline to dry clothes on the balcony was a nice surprise, very useful. I loved that the cleaning staff respect the notice card that is placed on the door. When it says "do not disturb", no one knocks on the door. I have stayed in other hotels where this warning was not respected. Some reviews mention the balcony lights that stay on all night. That's true, but in the room I stayed in, the curtain was thick and big enough to cover the glass and, therefore, no light entered the room. I really liked the drinks I had at the hotel's bar, and the price was surprisingly good.

I missed more space to organise the clothes. The hair drier was too weak, and you have to hold the button pressed all the time, otherwise it turns off. At the check-out, I was told they can provide another hair drier upon request. It would be better to have a better hairdryer already available in the rooms. The elevator is small and super slow, which means that in high season it might be a problem, and you would need to use the staircase.

Amazing hotel, great food, friendly staff. Very recommended.

I strongly recommend this hotel. Great location - close to the beach. Easy check in even with welcome drink. Our highlights: hotel staff was super attentive and smiling all the time. And the food - breakfast and dinner were the our culinary highlights. Delicious buffets, great wine, so good!

Only thing was the noise of motorbikes on the street at night.

Great location close to the beach, 10/10 staff, exquisite breakfast, mattress too soft for my taste

Diverse, rich, flavourful breakfast, with enough options not to get bored in 10 days, hotel located close to the beach, very nice view of the pool and mountains on the far background, wonderful staff (we started our days smiling because all the waiters at breakfast were smiling all the time, mentioning here Mamusa - thank you for all your attention and smiles! and actually all the staff throughout the day, a big thanks to Paula for all the tips she shared at check-in), rooms perfectly clean and in general a feeling of new/renovated and clean.

The beds. Not the fact that these are 2 twin beds sitting next to each other instead of a double bed, which was fine, but the mattresses - too soft and possibly a bit worn down, because we were sinking in the middle of the bed, and we are both thin. Meaning the quality of our sleep wasn't the best during our stay.

Lovely stay at Astoria Playa

Property was really well located to get to nearby beach, port, shops and restaurants. Staff were really accommodating and friendly, housekeeping attended the room each day and the hotel was spotlessly clean overall. We had breakfast included which had a great selection each morning.

Really excellent

The room was comfy and clean, nice shower, breakfast and dinner were really excellent for buffet standards, there was different food every night at dinner. The hotel is super close to the beach. We hired a car and although there is no hotel car park it wasn't an issue at all, there is free parking all around the hotel and we never had an issue finding a space. Nice swimming pool and the staff were super helpful and friendly.

Not much, we really liked the hotel, the only thing I would say the hotel could have to make it perfect is a gym.
