This was a clean and beautiful hotel, the nightly glass of wine and morning breakfast was great.

Everything, it was wonderful.

Location, decent breakfast

We probably were given the worst room, it was in the basement with a tiny window almost near the ceiling, facing a road. We could here everything that happened in the room above us - walking on our head and jumping on the bed

Pleasant stay with a wide selection at the breakfast

The location was very good, close to old time Monterey and Carmel by the Sea. The breakfast was very good, lots of variety and choices. The rooms are spacious. Overall staff are friendly.

The guy at the check in reception was not friendly at arrival date. There was an odd smell in the room. The fireplace was beeping cause of low battery. But after a phone call it was fixed immediately. The hotel is a bit outdated. We asked the cleaning lady to clean the room but she did not. Luckily the friendly check out lady promised us we can claim a small amount of money through booking.com for this accident.

Disappointed

Good location, clean with great staff.

Room was not as quiet as previous stay. Room was in adjacent building from main building. Heard voices and snoring from rooms below and next door. Disappointed for cost.
