Awesome Experience in Lisbon

Second time staying here. Awesome place to socialize and meet other travelers. Comfortable lounge areas. Breakfast is well worth the price. Several staff members really make an effort to make guests feel welcome. Big shout out to Matilde and Nila. I also appreciate how there are security controls on each floor. For example, guests who are staying on the third floor only have access to the third floor (and the main floor of course). I will gladly stay here when I return to Lisbon. Lisbon does a really great job with hostels compared to other countries/cities.

The building is a bit old. The room where I stayed was not sound proof. Could hear when doors of other rooms opened and closed. However, the guests in my room were all Highly respectful and people tended to minimize conversations in the hallways. Good sign of mutual respect. Highly recommend wearing earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Also, I recommend the rooms have more places to hang clothes and towels. Everyone in my room had to hang their towels on their bed structures.

Much more amazing than I thought

Fun energy. Activities for guests like day trips or tours are nice. Breakfast is a treat and inexpensive. All day music is relaxing. People are friendly and welcoming and helpful w information. Cozy lighting and furniture.

Drawers are noisy and disruptive when opening and closing. The metal locks too.

Coming home to Mamma was the best thing in Lisboa!

Home Lisbon hostel is really good if you like the familiar feeling of being around friends and family, even when you travel alone. The atmosphere created by Mamma makes people come together and enjoy breakfast or dinner, watch a movie, go out. There is a lot of love in this house, and it invites you to share and contribute! The beds are good and a bit private with separate curtains and your own space, the showers are very clean and very nice with good pressure and lots of hot water. It is easy to do laundry and you can exchange cash for the washing machine at the bar. The hostel invites you to hang out, kill your thirst at the bar or fill your belly, and the staff is really friendly and helpful if you ask! During your stay you can communicate with the reception through WhatsApp, which is really easy and convenient, and you will receive a very caring text asking if everything is okay to keep the environment friendly and safe for everyone! I would like to think that I am coming back

No soap in the shower. Not because there has to be body wash, but most places have that so it was a surprise. Please notice that the elevator doesnt start until one stair up. From there it is small, but works like a charm!

Good choice for a small trip

Location is perfect.

I found a few hairs on my quilt and pillow. I am not sure if they really change them as they also have some yellow trails which made me feel a bit uncomfortable.

Lovely hostel in the heart of Lisbon! The location could not be better. The dorm was very comfortable and spacious enough, the bathrooms were very clean. I especially enjoyed the daily dinners, they really helped create a lovely homey atmosphere. Overall, definitely worth the money, I would highly recommend.

Absolutely nothing to complain about.
