Holiday Inn Norwich North, an IHG Hotel, offers spacious rooms with ample desk space and a good mattress, but the air-conditioning is too cold. The connecting doors to neighboring rooms have poor sou (Read More)nd insulation, causing potential noise disturbances. The powerful shower, walk-in bathroom, and well-stocked breakfast buffet receive praise. However, dinner options are limited and expensive. The hotel has a good gym, though the pool was closed. Convenient location near the airport with paid parking available.

Passable

Fairly disappointed and not good value for money on this occasion.

Mostly friendly staff except for initial reception person, who was unhelpful and we couldn't understand what she was saying. The car parking arrangements were important to understand but she couldn't be bothered to explain it properly. "It's a one-time use ticket!" ... and what does that mean exactly? The car park was free and the park and ride into Norwich is just round the corner from the hotel. The bus driver let the entire bus load on the return journey from Norwich without asking for any fares from anyone. Brilliant.

Our room, #210, smelt damp and musty on arrival. The pillows were 3 hard and 1 soft and no more soft pillows were available under the promised pillow exchange scheme. so, didn't really get a good night's sleep either night. Breakfast #1 - great attentive staff. Breakfast #2 - not so. Too busy chatting and laughing. No fridge or safe in the room; poor for 104 a night and not usual Holiday Inn standard.

Exceptional

An ok base to stay for a short break

Was a nice 2 day stay, room was good the staff were very friendly a very nice buffet breakfast.

Had interference on the TV so some channels we couldn't watch, couldn't get the air-conditioning to warm the room.Think their main menu choice could be greatly improved.

Lovely hotel, great location for Norwich city centre

The staff were friendly and helpful on arrival Our room had to be changed due to a heating, the replacement rooms given were fantastic. Having a Swimming pool onsite was great too. Later check out meant we could relax in the morning.

Pool changing rooms could be updated. Not great space or shower facilities. New Years Eve party to be available to all guests. The rooms we had were excellent but not sure if they would have been affordable if we had booked them ourselves. Hope this does not sound negative as we had a great stay.

Great leisure facility though we did t get to use the gym. Well-maintained sauna and stream rooms. Easy access to Norwich Airport. Good sized rooms

Superb

The staff at the hotel were the best we have ever come across. Helpfully and friendly, nothing to much trouble.

The lighting in the room was to dull for our liking.

Exceptional

Comfortable, relaxing and peaceful.

We've now stayed at Holiday Inn Norwich International Airport four times, that included Xmas 2022 and 2023. The staff there are excellent, always so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Like milk for my tea. I bring my own tea and teapot. They always supply me with a small jug of fresh milk. Special thanks to Seb (Sebastian) who on our stay in October and this week was extremely helpful. particularly with the ice that he supplied me with for my Cryo Sleeve for my knee (recent knee replacement). Lauran was very helpful on checking in. Georgina on reception too was very helpful with our requests. Holiday Inn Norwich International Airport is prefect for our explorations into North Norfolk and seeing our sons family in West Norwich. Everyone at the hotel is so approachable. It's also nice that we are remembered by the staff, probably because of my wife's Hearing Dog Rico. We love this hotel and pretty much everything about it. Breakfasts have improved and are excellent.

Bigger baths, the baths are too small to stretch out in, I am only 5 foot 8. The internet is not very good on the ground floor. We stayed in room 220 this time, and there was no signal at all. We're not a big fan of the coffee Holiday Inn uses. We think it's Starbucks and that's not a brand that we usually use.
