The Holiday Inn Frankfurt - Alte Oper is recommended for its cleanliness and central location, although caution should be taken when venturing outside, as the surrounding area may not be desirable. The hotel is conveniently located near the main train station, but the area around the hotel can be unsafe at night. Despite this, the hotel offers good value for money and friendly staff.

Superb

Very comfortable and pleasant stay

The room was very comfortable with big and comfortable beds. Everything seemed clean, the staff was friendly and generally very professional. The breakfast was very good with a lot of healthy options. We really enjoyed our stay there .

The hotel is at the edge of a bad neighborhood, the Bahnhofviertel. We weren't aware of this on our first night, and we walked through a very shady street which made us feel uncomfortable. It was easy to avoid this neighborhood though.

good breakfast good location (10mins walk from city centre), although its very close to brothels street ( so much drug addicts and dribk people around the hotel)

their pillows are too soft, both of them. my neck hurts like hell now.

we enjoyed our stay

we enjoyed the breakfast a lot, good quality food and lots of choices the location is good, walking distance from the train station we've been allocated a room with rails in the bathroom for an elderly person - as per what we asked - thank you

the tea/coffee/milk selection / quantity in the room was very pour, worse than expected no fridge in the room limited toiletries the area around hotel is not very safe, we decided not to go outside in the evening

We asked to reduce the music volume in the restaurant at 8 am but they increased the volume instead until more people complained

Very poor

The heating system doesnt work. It was a cold nigt. We said to staff they changed our room but nothing change new room was also cold. We told our problem and they said the problem is about whole building. So they didnt help. We just stay one night and trust the holiday inn but it was disappointing.
